This research work seeks to engage in a critical discussion of the model of urbanization accelerated which flows through the city of the 21st century, and how it should deal with in optimal manner the challenges posed by this. In the framework of the implementation of the new urban Agenda, the questioning of our alienated Colombian cities becomes necessary. Looking for a panning in the reality of the country, but focusing the attention in El Rosal - Cundinamarca; a municipality emerging and devoid of the consolidation of a model of development. Which we formulate for effect of our research, in order to implement the principles and knowledge of the cities for life, on a route planning in the next 30 years.
