Durante la última década, en Colombia se han transformado algunos paradigmas relacionados con el sistema educativo, especialmente en el ámbito de la educación infantil o preescolar; por ello se considera pertinente revisar y reflexionar las maneras de reconstruir su historia, —es decir, aquellos cambios que han respondido a necesidades políticas, sociales y culturales—, para así encontrar los hitos que caracterizan el presente, pues a partir de estos se ha modificado su significado y sentido

Abstract
During the last decade, some paradigms have been transformed in Colombia regarding educative system, especially in the sphere of pre-school or child’s education. Therefore, it is now pertinent to revise and reflect on the ways to reconstruct this history —that is, those changes answering to the political, social and cultural needs— in order to identify the milestones typical to the present times as these make basis for changing their meaning and sense
