The coffee cultural landscape is generally associated with the dynamics found in the coffee park and especially in the coffee growing zones located in the departments of Caldas, Quindío, and Risaralda; but little is known about the other coffee growing municipalities, there are even people who are completely unaware of the link between some of them. This lack of knowledge is one of the reasons why there is a bias and lack of identity in terms of the tradition of cultivation, production and local consumption of one of the oldest beverages in the world: coffee. But in the current context, not only the beverage, but everything that surrounds the bean. In this sense the research is based on the need not only to know in depth the coffee growing municipalities, in this case especially the municipality of Isnos, Huila, but also the cultural and traditional importance that coffee represents, understanding that in the future the new generations will give a new meaning to what it is to be a coffee grower and what it represents to have coffee trees in these times. A new symbolism will be established, full of nuances and innovation for this field.
