Cattle Production Tendencies in the World
Resumen
La ganadería ha desempeñando múltiples paples en la sociedad: ha contribuido directamente a la seguridad alimentaria y a la salud, generando ingresos a productores y no productores con la venta de sus productos y subproductos; ha suministrado nutrientes al suelo en sistemas mixtos de producción, ha sido fuerza de tracción y permitido los procesos de acumulación de capital. Culturalmente ha sido símbolo de estatus, se ha manejado como trueque, como dote matrimonial, o como ahorro para momentos de iliquidez financiera. Su actividad ha contribuido positiva y negativamente con el crecimiento económico de los países, la salud pública y el medio ambiente, siendo hoy uno de los subsectores del sector agropecuario que más crecimiento ha tenido en los países subdesarrollados. El presente documento pretende recopilar información de diferentes investigadores en el mundo para dar una visión de lo que se espera suceda con ella en el futuro

Abstract
Stockbreeding has had multiple roles in society. It has contributed directly to food security and health, generating income to producers and non-producers with the sale of their products and sub-products. It has supplied nutrients to the soil in mixed production systems, and operated as the tractive force and given way to the capital accumulation processes. On a cultural level, it has been a symbol of status, been managed as an exchange, as a dowry, or as savings for moments of financial illiquidity. Its activity has contributed both positively and negatively to the economic growth of countries, public health and the environment, and it is now one of the fastest growing subsectors of the agricultural sector in under developed countries. This document aims to gather information from different researchers in the world so as to give a view of what is expected to happen with it in the future
