Resumen
El tema de la rendición de cuentas en los últimos años se convirtió en la principal herramienta de las organizaciones para combatir la corrupción, brindando una información clara, confiable y trasparente; sin embargo varias de estas compañías, principalmente las que pertenecen al sector salud, han tenido muchas dificultades para realzar este proceso, debido a que el alcance de sus metodologías, sistemas de información y control interno, no son suficientes para poder revelar la información necesaria para sus grupos de interés. En este artículo se presentan los conceptos y principales leyes que rigen la rendición de cuentas en Colombia. Posteriormente se realizó un análisis del proceso de rendición de cuentas para el Hospital de Kennedy, junto con un análisis de las principales acciones que complementan este proceso;

The topic of the account surrender in the last years turned into the principal tool of the companies to attack the corruption, offering a clear, reliable information and transparent; nevertheless you change of these companies, principally those who belong to the sector health, they have had many difficulties to heighten this process, due to the fact that the scope of his methodologies, information systems and internal control, they are not sufficient to be able to reveal the information necessary for his groups of interest. In this article they present the concepts and principal laws that govern the account surrender in Colombia. Later there was realized an analysis of the process of account surrender for Hospital the Kennedy, together with an analysis of the principal actions that complement this process; for this one resorted to the reports of account surrender, the management reports and the financial statements presented by this institution in the period 2012 - 2015. Finally they present the conclusions and the most relevant recommendations
