Resumen

Este trabajo realiza un estudio sobre la relación que existe entre el desempleo y la informalidad laboral en la ciudad de Bogotá para el periodo 2008 al 2015, debido a que los desempleados que cuentan con ciertas características tienen una mayor posibilidad de ingresar al sector informal. Con base en la evidencia empírica obtenida anticipadamente por diferentes autores, se realiza un análisis descriptivo del mercado laboral para la ciudad de Bogotá y se analiza el comportamiento de los fenómenos desempleo e informalidad. De igual manera se lleva a cabo un modelo de regresión lineal con el fin de encontrar la relación entre las mismas. Posterior a esto se identifican las políticas públicas de empleo implementadas durante este periodo en los planes de desarrollo por los alcaldes: Samuel Moreno (2008-2011)1 y Gustavo Petro (2012-2015)

This work makes a study about the relationship between unemployment and labor informality in the city of Bogotá for the period 2008 to 2015, because the unemployed who have certain characteristics have a greater chance of entering the informal sector. Based on the empirical evidence obtained in advance by different authors, a descriptive analysis of the labor market for the city of Bogotá is carried out and the behavior of the unemployment and informality phenomena is analyzed. In the same way, a linear regression model is carried out in order to find the relationship between them. After this, the public employment policies implemented during this period were identified in the development plans by the mayors: Samuel Moreno (2008-2011) and Gustavo Petro (2012-2015)
