The air pollution has been constituted as one of the principal environmental problems that the population affects in the world; the deterioration of the quality of the air has propitiated that diminish the standards of health due to the negative effects caused on the environment (MAVDT, 2010). In the urban areas, the particles derived from the cars and from the local soils have been identified as one of the dominant surfaces of the deposition of pollutants on the paved surfaces(Zafra et al., 2013). The resuspension of the above mentioned particles has been categorized as one of the phenomena by major contribution to the pollutant monitored of major interest in view of his harmful effects on the human health, the material particulado. These particles that settle and can resuspend in the atmosphere can assume to different sources anthropogenics the industrial processes, the emission of the vehicles, wear of tires, wear of the routes, between others(Zafra et al., 2013). The material particulate capable to resuspensión is defined as the dead-weight capacity of sediment deposited on the surface of the route and that is composed in the main of free, capable material to being re-suspended, and can be gathered by sweep and / or inhaled in the part travelled of the road asphalted (Ballesteros & Contreras, 2015). The loads of pollution of the urban run-off are a product of the accumulation of the sediments contaminated between two consecutive rains. These loads in general tend to a threshold or maximum value of balance. The intensity of the rain, the characteristics of the surfaces of the streets and the size of the particles are the principal factors on which there depends the rate with which the rain washes the powder and the dirt accumulated on the routes (Mejía, 2009). Bearing this project in mind previous the relation had as aim identify between the load of sediment vs rainfall in the route for to achieve a better understanding of the behavior that can manage to have the load of sediment in the city. For this the work I structure in three principal phases. Initially one proceeded to realize field campaigns of sampling where there were gathered samples of particles deposited in the routes using the methodology of the EPA AP-42 for sweep of streets. In the second phase analysis of granulometry was realized in order to obtain the load of road sediment (g/m2). Finally, for the third phase it decided of the load of road sediment with the results previously obtained and I evaluate the influence of the rainfall on the above mentioned variable. By means of the analyses of information it was possible to think that in Secretariat of mobility it predominates over thin material where as in Street 80 I gather major fraction of thick material; this due to the type of pavement, since on having had zones of great size it is stretched to accumulate major loads, whereas in Secretariat of mobility they found loads with minor size of particles since the pavement of this zone presents channels of minor size disabling this way the warehouse of thick materials
