Resumen

La ruta de los ríos Casanare y Guayabero es un área marginada por el conflicto armado, atrasada en aspectos sociales y económicos, con poca infraestructura de acceso; además de un desconocimiento colectivo de su riqueza natural en términos de biodiversidad y paisaje. Para el óptimo aprovechamiento de todos los recursos que esta región posee es necesaria la elaboración de una estrategia de ecoturismo que vincule los aspectos ambientales y económicos y permita su máximo aprovechamiento, generando ingresos para los habitantes de la zona y una alternativa turística para sus visitantes. Es por lo anterior que se eligió el caso de estudio en el Municipio de Cubarral, Meta, con el objetivo principal de elaborar un manual de técnicas sostenibles como alternativa de solución a una problemática identificada en prácticas de ecoturismo, en este caso en el hotel “La Marquesa” ubicado al inicio del sendero que conduce a la cascada la “Esmeralda” con el fin que sus dueños puedan brindar una experiencia única y diferente a los visitantes exponiendo sus prácticas sostenibles y logrando que se trasmita el conocimiento a toda la comunidad y a las personas que se acercan a desarrollar la práctica del ecoturismo y así poder generar un servicio y un beneficio tanto cultural como económico para los habitantes del municipio. Por otro lado se tomó la cascada “La Esmeralda” como objeto de estudio para lograr realizar una estimación de la capacidad de carga de este lugar y así hacer un análisis de acuerdo al trabajo de investigación realizado, el soporte bibliográfico, la visita a la región y así poder determinar la efectividad y aplicabilidad de la metodología empleada en este caso la de Cifuentes (1992). Finalmente se propone la elaboración de un manual de prácticas sostenibles con el fin de brindar tanto a la comunidad como a los turistas que visitan este lugar un entorno sostenible en el que puedan desarrollar sus actividades de manera responsable, y sea una experiencia eco turística en la que resalte la conciencia ambiental y el cuidado por el ecosistema sin dejar de lado el lograr un beneficio cultural y económico.

The route of the Casanare and Guayabero rivers is an area marginalized by the armed conflict, behind in social and economic aspects, with little access infrastructure; besides a collective ignorance of its natural wealth in terms of biodiversity and landscape. For the optimum use of all the resources that this region has, it is necessary to elaborate an ecotourism strategy that links the environmental and economic aspects and allows its maximum use, generating income for the inhabitants of the area and a tourist alternative for its visitors. It is for the foregoing that the study case was chosen in the Municipality of Cubarral, Meta with the main objective of developing a manual of sustainable techniques as an alternative solution to a problem identified in ecotourism practices, in this case at the hotel "La Marquesa "with the purpose that its owners can offer a unique and different experience to the visitors exposing their sustainable practices and achieving that knowledge is transmitted to the whole community and to the people who come to develop the practice of ecotourism and thus be able to generate a service and a cultural and economic benefit for the inhabitants of the municipality. On the other hand, the "La Esmeralda" waterfall was taken as an object of study to achieve an estimate of the load capacity of this place and thus make an analysis according to the research work carried out, the bibliographic support, the visit to the region and thus be able to determine the effectiveness and applicability of the methodology used in this case that of Cifuentes. Finally, the development of a manual of sustainable practices is proposed in order to provide both the community and the tourists who visit this place a sustainable environment in which they can carry out their activities in a responsible manner, and be an eco-tourist experience in the that highlights environmental awareness and care for the ecosystem without neglecting to achieve a cultural and economic benefit.
