Resumen
El presente documento contiene una recopilación de información general, como geografía, hidrología, climatología, actividad social y económica de la población, aspectos urbanísticos, entre otros; acerca del corregimiento de Chinauta, Municipio de Fusagasugá, Cundinamarca. Así mismo muestra la metodología y desarrollo del diagnóstico realizado para determinar la situación ambiental y sanitaria del corregimiento con respecto al manejo y disposición de las aguas residuales generadas. En base a la información descrita, se plantean, evalúan, comparan y seleccionan alternativas tanto para la recolección como tratamiento de dichas aguas; para proceder así a su diseño. Las alternativas diseñadas corresponden al sistema de alcantarillado sin arrastre de sólidos (ASAS – Sistema no convencional) y lagunas facultativas, como opción para el tratamiento. Finalmente se presenta el Plan de manejo Ambiental necesario durante las etapas de construcción y operación de las obras proyectadas

This document contains a summary of general information about Chinauta town located in the municipality of Fusagasugá, such as geography, hydrology, climatology, social and economic activity of the population, urban development aspects, among others. Likewise it shows the methodology and development of the diagnosis fulfilled to determine the environmental and sanitary situation of the town related to the handling of its wastewater. On the basis of the described information alternatives for compilation and treatment of the wastewater are proposed, evaluated and chosen in order to proceed to their design. The designed alternatives correspond to the sewer system without dragging of solids (ASAS – or non conventional System) as well as lagoons, or stabilization ponds as an option of treatment. Finally the Environmental management Plan is included to take into account during the stages of construction and operation of the projected works
