This project aims to perform the life cycle analysis for a farm that develops pig activities in the municipality of San Antonio del Tequendama specifically in the village of La Rapida through the use of SimaPro software from a “cradle at the door” approach. where the methodology according to the ISO 14044 technical standard was taken into account, using the four stages of development of a LCA. For the development it was necessary to make an inventory of inputs and outputs for each of the production stages, through technical visits and data collected by the farm workers, considering the functional unit of 1kg of live weight. For the evaluation of the impact categories the RéCiPe 2016 method was used, where the most significant ones were taken taking into account the percentage of affectation in the SimaPro software according to the analyzed LCA system, the selected categories were: global warming potential, acidification, eutrophication, water consumption and land use; where an analysis of the impact network was carried out that showed which was the production stage that most affected according to each of the selected categories, where it was found that the precebo stage had an affectation with a percentage greater than 80%, this It is reflected because at this stage there are higher consumption of raw materials and therefore greater pollution, because it is the primary stage of pig growth, this was reflected in the impact categories such as global warming where it was seen reflected the main pollutants such as carbon dioxide (CO2) with 63.3% followed by dinitrogen monoxide (N2O) with 4.49% and methane (CH4) with 0.319%, these emissions caused mainly by the swine in its degradation process and by the storage area for excreta, taking into account the impacts generated on the farm, environmental management records were made to improve conditions productive, environmental and sanitary conditions on the farm.
