Resumen

El presente documento contiene la elaboración de un visor geográfico para el análisis de la gestión farmacéutica en Colombia que permite analizar la información, identificando zonas críticas a nivel nacional que requieren mejorar o implementar nuevas estrategias de gestión de medicamentos posconsumo. Para la elaboración del visor geográfico se tuvo en cuenta la identificación de puntos de inflexión obtenidos de estudios de caso basados de la revisión bibliográfica desde el inicio de la implementación del programa de posconsumo de medicamentos en Colombia hasta la actualidad, lo anterior para tener un contexto de las practicas que se tienen frente a la disposición final de medicamentos y así poder hacer una sinergia con el visor geográfico y las estrategias a mejorar o implementar. La elaboración del visor geográfico se realizó a partir de bases de datos obtenidas de la corporación punto azul en donde se realizó una segregación de variables definiendo la ubicación del contenedor, cantidad de fármacos recolectados en los contenedores desde el periodo del 2010 al 2021, gestores y asociados separados por departamento y municipio como las variables empleadas en el visor geográfico realizando una interacción entre una y otra. Los resultados del visor geográfico permitieron identificar las zonas críticas en donde no se tienen contendores, además del aumento de asociados y de la cantidad recolectada de medicamentos del 2010 al 2019 y así mismo evidenciar una disminución en el periodo del 2020 y 2021. Por otra parte, el visor geográfico permite a cualquier usuario realizar la consulta del punto de localización más cercano del contenedor al lugar de residencia en donde pueda disponer correctamente los residuos farmacéuticos.

This document contains the development of a geographic viewer for the analysis of pharmaceutical management in Colombia that makes it possible to analyze the information, identifying critical areas at the national level that require improvement or the implementation of new post-consumption medicine management strategies. For the elaboration of the geographic viewer, the identification of inflection points obtained from case studies based on the bibliographic review from the beginning of the implementation of the post-consumption medicine program in Colombia to the present was taken into account, in order to have a context of the practices that are in place regarding the final disposal of medicines and thus be able to make a synergy with the geographic viewer and the strategies to be improved or implemented. The development of the geographic viewer was based on databases obtained from the blue dot corporation where a segregation of variables was made defining the location of the container, number of drugs collected in the containers from the period 2010 to 2021, managers and associates separated by department and municipality as the variables used in the geographic viewer making an interaction between one and the other. The results of the geographic viewer made it possible to identify the critical areas where there are no containers, in addition to the increase in the number of associates and the number of medicines collected from 2010 to 2019, also to show a decrease in the period from 2020 to 2021. On the other hand, the geographic viewer allows any user to consult the nearest location point of the container to their place of residence where they can correctly dispose of pharmaceutical waste.
