The purpose of this project is to carry out the cost-benefit analysis of the organic waste utilization process. through the selection of different conventional and unconventional alternatives such as open and closed composting systems. vermiculture. bokashi and biochar. whose product will be used. as an amendment in the urban gardens at the headquarters Compensar calle 220 and Cajica. For this. a review of secondary information was carried out, forming a state of the art where different projects were taken into account in which they have implemented techniques for the use of organic waste and their results. followed by a matrix with the different environmental impacts and social effects that would have the implementation of each technique. Finally, the selection is made of which would be the best technique that adjusts to the needs of each compensation site through a selection matrix based on the ANALYTIC HIERARCHY PROCESS (AHP) methodology of Thomas Saaty (1980) and the evaluation criteria are They gave according to the benefit in terms of efficiency and costs. As a result, it was obtained that the vermiculture technique is the technique that has lower investment costs and a better product (fumes) to be implemented in urban compensation gardens: however, the closed composting technique using the Earth Green SAC-4500 reactor also has good operating characteristics and maintenance costs. making the initial investment recoverable in less time.
