Chacua the sidewalk is located in the rural area of Sibaté, south of Bogota and Soacha; public services which are available to the path: electricity and water supply, as the dynamics of urban development that has suffered the sidewalk, limited coverage and delivery of public services as I established in Law 142; due to its location with respect to the municipality of Sibaté and Bogota, it has seen significant population growth over the last decade in the village, which has generated pressure on natural resources, especially in catchment areas. The water recharge areas that supply the water system have been affected due to the impacts of climate and anthropogenic type that have influenced the decline of the water supply in the medium and long term, together with increased demand for drinking water . At the municipal level, aqueducts operate improperly, since the chemical physical parameters regarding the quality of treated water does not meet the provisions of Resolution 2115 of 2007; at the rate of failures of technical and operational nature that directly affect the quality of service. The main objective of this project was to develop a diagnosis of all components of the water system of the company Aguas de Chacua, based on the technical regulations Title B RAS 2000 and Resolution 2115 of 2007 in order to develop alternatives that will help to improve service. Technicians in each of the networks (adduction, transmission and distribution) that make up the water system, identifying the factors or elements that affect the service aspects were observed. As measures of service improvement the land surveying networks, chemical and physical analyzes of treated water collected in conjunction with the calculation of operating capacity units capture units and water treatment was performed. Concluding that the system has weaknesses in their networks adduction, handling, treatment and distribution, mainly in water quality. As a result of using unsuitable for transporting drinking water elements, fraudulent connections, deteriorating supply sources and the lack of monitoring programs of the networks. However, we must highlight the work done by the administration of water and the Community Action Board of the village, towards improving the service, since the expansion of the scheme of water treatment was conducted, acquisition and measurement equipment updating the system distribution networks
