Resumen

Los sistemas estructurales arriostrados tipo: Pórticos Arriostrados Concéntricamente (PAC), Pórtico Arriostrado Excéntricamente (PAE) y Pórtico Arriostrado de Pandeo Restringido (PAPR); se diseñan con el fin de proporcionar a un edificio un aumento en la resistencia y rigidez lateral y así evitar el colapso de una estructura debido a grandes fuerzas de sismo. Sin embargo, la información existente sobre estos sistemas no está centralizada, no hay ejemplos matemáticos guías y no hay un texto en el cual se aborde el paso a paso del diseño. La presente investigación consiste en el desarrollo de una guía metodológica que exhiba todos los elementos normativos y técnicos necesarios para diseñar una estructura en acero con un sistema estructural tipo PAC, PAE Y PAPR, con el fin de proporcionar una herramienta didáctica y pedagógica para que toda persona que desee diseñar estas estructuras tenga los fundamentos básicos y pueda hacerlo siguiendo un orden lógico matemático y normativo.

The SCBF (special concentrically braced frame), EBF (eccentrically braced frame) and BRBF (buckling restrained braced frame) braced structural systems are designed to provide a building with an increase in resistance and lateral stiffness and thus prevent collapse of a structure due to large earthquake forces; however, the existing information on these systems is not centralized, there are no mathematical examples guides and there is no text in which the step-by-step design is addressed. The present research consists of the development of a methodological guide that exhibits all the necessary normative and technical elements to design a steel structure with a structural system type SCBF, EBF and BRBF, in order to provide a didactic and pedagogical tool so that anyone who wishes to design these structures has the basic fundamentals and can do it following a mathematical and normative logical order.
