Resumen

El proyecto se realizó en el municipio de Nunchía, Casanare, se implementó una hectárea de yuca Manihot esculenta Crantz con fines comerciales realizando un manejo agronómico adecuado para el óptimo crecimiento y desarrollo del cultivo, monitoreando plagas y enfermedades para determinar la necesidad de su control durante el desarrollo del cultivo. Hubo cuatro componentes que hacen parte fundamental del trabajo, el agronómico que se refleja en la siembra y manejo del cultivo, el social que se ejecuta con días de campo y capacitaciones agronómicas a la comunidad del municipio; el investigativo que hace referencia a la elaboración de enmiendas orgánicas para la aplicación en huertas escolares y familiares y Empresarización del campo, en donde se evalúa la capacidad y para la comercialización del producto final,

The project was carried out in the municipality of Nunchía, Casanare, one hectare of cassava Manihot esculenta Crantz was implemented for commercial purposes making an adequate agronomic management for the optimal growth and development of the crop, preventing and attacking pests and diseases that were presented in the crop. There were four components that are a fundamental part of the work, the agronomic one that is reflected in the sowing and management of the crop, the social one that is executed with talks, field days and training to the community of the municipality; the research that refers to the development of organic amendments for application in school gardens and family and field entrepreneurship, which assesses the capacity and strength for the marketing of the final product, which in this case is fresh cassava, taking into account the development of the crop, the implementation of cassava in the municipality of Nunchía-Casanare is favorable, since it adapts to the soil and climatic conditions of the area.
