Resumen

Con la implementación del proyecto en el establecimiento de 5.000 m2 de frijol (Phaseolus vulgaris L.) variedad Diacol Calima como alternativa comercial a cultivos tradicionales en el municipio de Chaparral - Tolima, se buscó promover en la región el establecimiento de cultivos tecnificados en la zona , que ofrecerán a los agricultores otras vías de ingreso de dinero, ya que su economía depende principalmente del cultivo de café. Para lograr esto se llegó a los habitantes de las veredas El Escobal y El salado del municipio de chaparral, con alternativas de producción utilizando nuevas técnicas de producción en la región, realizando días de campo en los cuales la comunidad participaba en algunas de las actividades que allí se realizaban. Así mismo, se ofreció a la comunidad orientaciones técnicas mediante capacitaciones, las cuales estaban enfocadas hacia el uso responsable de agro insumos, además de la importancia de la utilización de los elementos de protección personal durante las actividades que en las fincas se llevan a cabo. En cuanto el componente investigativo se evaluó el efecto de la aplicación de dos tipos de enmiendas orgánicas en la producción y rendimiento de fríjol comparado con fertilizante químico. El ensayo se estableció en campo mediante un diseño de bloques completos al azar. Se realizó el análisis usando el programa Infostat por medio del análisis de varianza y prueba de Tukey con margen de error del 0,05 obteniendo como resultados que el T1 fue el que más influyó en las variables evaluadas. Finalmente, en algunas variables se estableció que la aplicación de enmiendas orgánicas facilita a la planta de frijol la absorción rápida de nutrientes,

With the implementation of the project in the establishment of 5.000 m2 of beans (Phaseolus vulgaris L.) variety Diacol Calima as a commercial alternative to traditional crops in the municipality of Chaparral - Tolima, the aim was to promote the establishment of technified crops in the region, which allowed farmers to offer other ways to earn money, since their economy depends mainly on coffee cultivation. To achieve this, the inhabitants of the El Escobal and El Salado districts of the municipality of Chaparral were reached, with production alternatives using new production techniques in the region, holding field days in which the community participated in some of the activities that there they were made. Likewise, technical guidance was offered to the community through training, which was focused on the responsible use of agricultural inputs, in addition to the importance of the use of personal protection elements during the activities carried out on the farms. As for the research component, the effect of the application of two types of organic amendments on the production and yield of beans compared to chemical fertilizer was evaluated. The trial was established in the field using a randomized complete block design. The analysis was carried out using the Infostat program by means of the analysis of variance and Tukey's test with an error margin of 0.05, obtaining as results that T1 was the one that most influenced the evaluated variables. Finally, in some variables it was established that the application of organic amendments facilitates the bean plant the rapid absorption of nutrients, however, the chemical fertilization that is provided to the crop allows the plant to better fill the pod and that the seed have more weight since synthetic fertilizers allow plants a greater assimilation of nutrients in less time
