Resumen

El proyecto productivo se desarrolló en el resguardo indígena de Rioblanco, municipio de Sotará, departamento del Cauca. La implementación del sistema productivo de arveja se llevó acabo en un área de 2.500 m² donde se aplicaron diferentes prácticas agronómicas referentes a preparación del terreno, sistema de siembra, requerimiento nutricional e hídrico, manejo integrado de arvenses, plagas y enfermedades, siendo estas últimas las más limitantes y con mayor afectación dentro del cultivo. Paralelamente se realizó un estudio de caso, acerca de las motivaciones e impactos dentro de la asociación Yuyay Pacha conformada por jóvenes Rioblanqueños, mediante el cual se pudo determinar que las principales motivaciones para crear la asociación están dadas por la descontaminación del medio ambiente, a través del manejo y transformación de residuos orgánicos y pecuarios; dentro de los impactos se encuentra la concientización por el cuidado del medio ambiente, el fortalecimiento del liderazgo juvenil y el rescate de la agricultura orgánica.

The productive project was developed in the indigenous reservation of Rioblanco, municipality of Sotará, department of Cauca. The implementation of the pea production system was carried out in an area of 2.500 m² where different agronomic practices were applied regarding land preparation, planting system, nutritional and water requirements, integrated management of weeds, pests and diseases, the latter being the more limiting and with greater affectation within the crop. At the same time, a case study was carried out on the motivations and impacts within the Yuyay Pacha association made up of Rioblanqueño youngs, through which it was determined that the main motivations for creating the association are given by the decontamination of the environment, through the management and transformation of organic and livestock waste; Among the impacts is the awareness of caring for the environment, the strengthening of youth leadership and the rescue of organic agriculture.
