The following research exposes the development and importance of the reverse logistic integrated into the production chain of the petrochemical – rubber sector, from an international panorama and then a national panorama. It starts from theoretical framework with the competitive advantage given by Porter that leads to the concept of supply chain, which is formed by distribution, coordination, planning and transportation among others, to reach the conventional logistics and reverse logistics. Here it shows the leadership of reverse logistic in the global field of solid waste collection, evolution and growth of this green trend
