Este trabajo presenta un análisis del intercambio comercial del sector cosmético colombiano bajo el enfoque del biocomercio, en donde las tendencias mundiales sobre el cuidado de la piel han cambiado, permitiendo que hoy en día los protagonistas sean los cosméticos elaborados con ingredientes naturales, aprovechando la biodiversidad de los países. Para tal propósito en esta investigación se realizó una estimación de un modelo econométrico de tipo mínimos cuadrados ordinarios para identificar la relación de las exportaciones de ingredientes naturales, con la tasa representativa del mercado y la producción de ingredientes naturales durante el periodo 2006-2014. Los resultados del modelo sugieren que la industria del sector cosmético tiene una gran oportunidad internacional en el marco del biocomercio
This paper presents an analysis of the Colombian cosmetic sector under the scope of bio, where global trends on skin care have changed, allowing today's protagonists are cosmetics made from natural ingredients, the use of biodiversity countries. This model identifies the ratio of exports of natural ingredients with the representative market rate and the production of natural ingredients for the period 2006-2014.
