In the analysis of the phrase "Son weighs less a pencil than a shovel" it has been possible to reflect how the agricultural sector has faced great challenges due to social, economic and cultural problems, which has resulted in an abandonment of the countryside, a drop in its productivity and a greater dependence on imported products. This migration of young people to cities or other territories in search of better opportunities and the lack of project formulation have left the rural sector in crisis. This project aims to awaken entrepreneurial interest in young people in rural areas, teaching them to develop sustainable projects that strengthen their communities. As a pilot, it is carried out at the Cerezos Grandes institution educational departmental in Chipaque, Cundinamarca, based on co-creation workshops, allowing students to identify business opportunities in their environment. With workshops focused on marketing and finance, which seek to get students to recognize the value of their local resources and take advantage of them in a sustainable way. In addition, promoting practices that contribute to economic development and the fight against climate change. By changing young people's perception of the countryside, it is hoped that this model can be applied in other institutions, inspiring more young people to contribute to the well-being of their communities and strengthen their rural roots.
