La investigación “efectos producidos por la implementación del wiki “colegioagustinianotagaste.pbworks.com” en el desarrollo de la competencia escritural en inglés de estudiantes de educación básica” tuvo por objetivo analizar los efectos producidos por la implementación del wiki en el desarrollo de la competencia escritural en 21 estudiantes de grado segundo de una institución privada. Ésta se realizó teniendo como guía el diseño cuasi experimental, por lo cual se realizaron las pruebas inicial y final y un tratamiento en el wiki con tres unidades didácticas. Lo anterior fue analizado a través del método analítico descriptivo, con lo cual se estableció el nivel inicial de los estudiantes, cuál fue su movilidad de acuerdo con los niveles de la escala de valoración en cada unidad. Las tres unidades didácticas se trabajaron con base en competencias auténticas y los postulados de Linda Flower, John Hayes y Daniel Cassany; dichas competencias fueron coherentes con una evaluación auténtica según los criterios de Carlos Monereo. Por último se estableció el nivel en la competencia escritural al aplicar la prueba final; se evidenció cómo en la prueba inicial del 100% de los estudiantes 95% de ellos se encontraban en un desempeño bajo y 5% en desempeño básico, al aplicar la prueba final el 38,1% de los estudiantes avanzaron al desempeño alto y el 23,8% al desempeño superior. En conclusión, un 38,1% de los estudiantes necesitan de mayor trabajo y énfasis en los procesos constitutivos de la competencia escritural
The research project wiki in the development of the writing competence, had the objective to analyze the effects of the implementation of a wiki in the development of the writing competence in 21 second graders from a private institution. It was done taking into account the quasi-experimental design. It was necessary to apply an initial and final testing, furthermore, a treatment in wiki by means of three didactic units, the above was analyzed by analytical descriptive method in order to establish the initial level of the students, which it was their mobility according to the levels of the rating scale in each unit. It is necessary to emphasize that the three didactic units were worked based on authentic competence and the affirmations of Linda Flower, John Hayes and Daniel Cassany those affirmations were coherents with an authentic assessment according to point of view of Carles Monereo. Finally, the level in the writing competence was established when the post test was applied to the students. The researchers could corroborate that the total 100% of the students in the pre test, 95% of them were in a poor level, and 5% of students were in basic level, after the post test 38, 1% of students advanced in the test and got a good level and 23, 8% of students got high level. The writers can conclude that 38, 1% of the students need more activities and emphasis in the processes of writing competence
