Climate change has affected life conditions, such as housing and economic needs of the entire world population. In the very case of the Mesa de los Santos, is is located in the canyon of the Chicamocha, and is an area of tropical dry climate with two river stations per year, due to climate change, these river stations have a shorter period, affecting the crop (mostly tobacco) are lost due to lack of water, and all this leads to economic change that encourages the move of this rural village to the nearest cities in search of better opportunities - urban areas generates a suburbanism, which marginalizes the rural giving the allusion that development is be urbanized. The displacement of its inhabitants have created a very significant field dissertation also given by real estate speculation in the area
