Resumen
La presente investigación se enfoca en realizar una estimación econométrica con datos de panel de la productividad total de los factores del sector automotor en Colombia, a partir de los microdatos anonimizados de la Encuesta Anual Manufacturera –EAM para el período 2008-2015. El trabajo pretende analizar la evolución de las principales variables del sector en términos de generación de empleo, producción bruta, consumo de energía, materias primas y calificación de la mano de obra, así como la contribución específica de los factores de producción (capital- trabajo) a la Productividad Total de los Factores -PTF durante el período de análisis

The present investigation focused on an economic estimation with data of the panel of the total productivity of the factors of the automotive sector in Colombia, from the anonymous microdata of the Annual Manufacturing Survey -EAM for the period 2008-2015.
