Abstract
The main purpose of this work was to determinate the correlation between the physiological reproductive states pre-childbirth, pre-childbirth and post-childbirth with the Thickness of Fat to level of the Tenth Second Rib (EGDC), thickness of fat of Fat of the Croup (EGG), thickness of fat on tail’s base (EGBC) and area of eye of the loin (AOL). For this study, 102 cows Holstein and Pardo Suizo (Bos taurus) were used from the farms of “Puente de Piedra” (with 56 animals) and “Santa María” (with 46 animals) of different genetic merit of milk production, that are fed under a system of rotational pasturing with concentrate’s supplement. These animals were studied one month after the childbirth, on the birth to 30 and 60 days post-childbirth which constituted the periods of sampling. In each sampling, the animals were stalls for their later measurement by ultrasound. The collected data were analyzed through analysis of variances and test of averages of Tukey (HSD) to establish the relation between the reproductive variables with the fat measurements and area of eye of the loin. To determine the association between the intramuscular and subcutaneous fat measures and the reproductive indicators. It was realized an analysis of Pearson linear correlation and predictive models of multiple regression to try to quantify of a predictive scale of the reproductive parameters and the measurements of EGDC, EGG, EGBC and AOL. It was found a statistically significant relation between the area of eye of the loin with the reproductive variables open days, reproductive days not productive and Interval, ”childbirth-first service” (p
