La presente investigación busca diseñar un centro de atención a la salud mental en la localidad de Engativá (Bogotá) que proteja, acompañe, y permita el tratamiento de diferentes problemas asociados a la salud mental de manera integral, en un diseño que permita la sanación desde la espacialidad, y estimule las relaciones sociales en la población. Esta investigación se centra en la salud mental a través de la implantación de espacios urbanos y arquitectónicos, dónde la experiencia curativa se proyecte en la transición del proyecto para la comunidad de Engativá. El proyecto se enfoca en aspectos como la Biofília y la neuro arquitectura, donde autores Andrew D. Berman y, John Eberhard integran los aspectos mencionados para potenciar y generar una identidad a sus proyectos. La comprensión de los trastornos y enfermedades mentales se abordará por medio de la creación de un equipamiento dedicado a las personas que enfrentan una desadaptación en su entorno. La naturaleza será el eje central y organizador de estos espacios, generando una fragmentación en sus usos donde se destacarán zonas específicas destinadas al tratamiento continuo y la interacción con su entorno.
The present research seeks to design a mental health care center in the town of Engativá (Bogotá) that protects, accompanies, and allows the treatment of different problems associated with mental health in a comprehensive manner, in a design that allows healing from spatiality, and stimulate social relations in the population. This research focuses on mental health through the implementation of urban and architectural spaces, where the healing experience is projected in the transition of the project for the Engativá community. The project focuses on aspects such as Biophilia and neuroarchitecture, where authors Andrew D. Berman and John Eberhard integrate the aforementioned aspects to enhance and generate an identity for their projects. The understanding of mental disorders and illnesses will be addressed through the creation of equipment dedicated to people who face maladjustment in their environment. Nature will be the central axis and organizer of these spaces, generating a fragmentation in their uses where specific areas destined for continuous treatment and interaction with their environment will be highlighted.
