Resumen
El presente documento presenta el proyecto de grado titulado “Mapeo y caracterización espacial y evolutiva de asentamientos informales en el municipio de Florencia, Caquetá, mediante sensoramiento remoto”. En donde este trabajo se caracteriza por ser de carácter cualitativo con un enfoque descriptivo y documental, este es un trabajo elaborado por los estudiantes de la facultad de Ingeniería Civil con el objetivo de analizar la evolución de los asentamientos informales en Florencia para los años 2018 y 2024. Para esto la investigación se centra en utilizar herramientas tecnológicas como Google Earth Engine y ArcGIS Pro para así mismo realizar un mapeo característico y preciso de la zona a estudiar, considerando el contexto de crecimiento informal de viviendas, como crecimiento poblacional. Este proceso se desarrolló en varias etapas como la identificación del problema, recopilación de antecedentes, análisis de datos geoespaciales y por último la validación de los resultados. Esta labor permitirá comprender los asentamientos informales y su dinámica con las implicaciones sociales y ambientales de la región. Como resultado de esta investigación y proyecto de grado se verificó que en el transcurso de 6 años se vio afectada la ciudad con asentamientos informales no solo en el sector del Noroccidente sino también en la parte del Suroccidente y una parte del Occidente. Esto demuestra que en las periferias de la ciudad tiende a ser más avistados los asentamientos informales, incluso en la parte de los ríos se ve afectada esta zona.
Abstract
The present report is part of the research project entitled “Mapping and spatial and evolutionary characterization of informal settlements in the municipality of Florencia, Caquetá, through remote sensing”. This work is characterized by its qualitative nature with a descriptive and documentary approach, this is a work elaborated by the students of the faculty of Civil students of the Faculty of Civil Engineering with the objective of analyzing the evolution of informal the evolution of informal settlements in Florence for the years 2018 and 2024. For this, the research is focused on using technological tools such as Google Earth Engine and ArcGIS such to carry out a characteristic and precise mapping of the area to be and precise mapping of the area to be studied, considering the context of informal housing growth, as well as population growth. This process was developed stages such as problem identification, background data collection, geodata analysis of geospatial data and finally the validation of the results. This work will allow us to understand the informal settlements and their dynamics with social and environmental implications of the region. As a result of this research and degree project, it was verified that over the course of 6 years the city was affected with informal settlements not only in the Northwest sector but also in the Southwest and a part of the West. This shows that on the outskirts of the city informal settlements tend to be more sighted, even in the river area this area is affected.
