En este trabajo se analiza el Comercio Intraindustrial (CII) entre Colombia y México desde 1995 hasta 2012 con el fin de identificar los sectores de mayor y menor participación, mediante el cálculo del Índice Grubel y Lloyd (GyL), el cual arrojó un promedio entre los países de 21,40%, siendo la industria de Artículos manufacturados diversos la sección con mayor CII (49,66%); en contraste, la industria de Aceites, grasas y ceras de origen animal tiene un Índice GyL de 1,76%. A su vez, las variables que determinaron el CII fueron: Tasa de interés y Valor agregado por trabajador a la actividad agrícola. Finalmente, se crearon estrategias de competitividad que buscan impulsar el CII entre Colombia y México
In this paper the IIT between Colombia and Mexico are analyzed from 1995-2012 in order to identify areas of greater and lesser participation by calculating the Grubel-Lloyd Index (GyL).The average index among countries was 21.40%, the industry Miscellaneous manufactured articles has more IIT (49.66%); in contrast, the industry of oils, fats and waxes of animal has a GyL index 1,76%. Furthermore, the variables that determined the IIT were: Interest Rate, Value added in agriculture activity per worker. In addition, strategies are created to boost competitiveness IIT between Colombia and Mexico
