El sector hortofrutícola está conformado por los subsectores de Frutas y Hortalizas.Colombia es un país tradicionalmente agrónomo y se resalta la participación de estos dos subsectores dentro de la economía nacional. Este estudio está centrado en la producción de frutas dada su variedad y niveles de producción en todo su territorio. en su dinámica comercial, muestra a través de sus indicadores de competitividad, niveles de aceptación de frutas colombianas en comparación de las frutas producidas en Turquía, generando de esta manera una ventaja potencial beneficiosa en el sector agroindustrial y económica para nuestro país. The fruit and vegetable sector is made up of the sub-sectors of fruit and vegetables.Colombia is a country traditionally agronomist, the participation of these two sub-sectors is highlighted in to the national economy. This study focused on the fruit production because it variety and level production in all the Colombian territory.Fruits in Colombia represent a considerable ruble for the rural economy these being a potential element of export worldwide.Colombia and Turkey in its commercial dynamics have shown through their competitiveness indicators acceptance levels possessing the Colombian fruit compared to fruit produced in Turkey, thereby generating an agro-industrial and economic benefits for the country.Colombia, as a country of agro industrial tradition could rethink the possibility to develop and introduce technology field and taking advantage of more than 14 million hectares according to studies of the Vice Ministry of Environment (2009), may have destination and fruit crops vegetables.Keywords: Fruit Production, Competitiveness, Foreign Trade, Development Potential, trade relations, Turkey.
