La investigación examina la industria manufacturera, clasificada en siete diferentes grupos según su naturaleza industrial, de Colombia con respecto a Chile, México y Perú, en su calidad de miembros de la Alianza del Pacífico, durante el periodo 2001 a 2014. Se busca identificar los sectores específicos en los que el grado de diferenciación de los bienes comprendidos en las partidas arancelarias analizadas, presente oportunidades para abrir nichos de mercado en mercados extranjeros diferentes a los de la región, específicamente el mercado Asia-Pacífico, por cuanto el acuerdo pretende desarrollar mercados en el este de Asia, por ser el eje de los negocios internacionales de hoy
Research tests the manufacturing industry, classified into seven different groups according to their industrial nature, of Colombia respecting Chile, Mexico and Peru, in their condition of members of the Pacific Alliance, during the period 2001 to 2014, looking for identifying specific sectors in which the grade of differentiation of goods included in tariff entries shows opportunities for opening market niches in foreign markets different to those of the region, specifically the Asia-Pacific market, for the agreement pretends to develop markets in Eastern Asia, being this the axis of international business nowadays
