El hombre es un ser social por naturaleza que busca satisfacer sus necesidades y para suplirlas tiende a formar parte de asociaciones con las que se van generando relaciones que conllevan a compartir valores, conocimientos, creencias, sentimientos y emociones, formando una identidad propia del colectivo al que se pertenece. El reto de las organizaciones es establecer una ruta que encamine a todos los empleados a identificarse con sus principios, valores, imagen corporativa y políticas; generando una diferenciación. El objetivo del presente estudio es analizar la cultura organizacional de la empresa de transporte XYZ, con el fin de determinar los componentes críticos de la misma para establecer así una propuesta de mejora. La metodología consiste en aplicar una herramienta de diagnóstico denominada IDCO, para determinar las variables que deben mejorar para conseguir fortalecer la cultura organizacional y formar una identidad distintiva.
