Este proyecto presenta el diseño, desarrollo y evaluación del sistema CIBOT, un robot autónomo diseñado con propósitos de asistencia y cuidado. Los objetivos fundamentales incluyen mejorar la estabilidad de su estructura mecánica, evaluar los componentes de hardware y software, y desarrollar una interfaz hombre-máquina (HMI) que facilite la interacción con el usuario. A través de un enfoque integral, se identificaron y mejoraron áreas clave del robot, como la estabilidad estructural y la eficiencia operativa, lo que permitió perfeccionar la navegabilidad en entornos controlados. Además, la implementación de una HMI favorece la accesibilidad del sistema, ofreciendo una interfaz intuitiva que mejora la experiencia del usuario. Este sistema modular también abre la puerta a futuras mejoras e investigaciones, proporcionando una plataforma flexible para adaptaciones orientadas a la automatización de tareas repetitivas en entornos industriales y de servicio. Los resultados del proyecto demuestran su potencial como herramienta de asistencia, contribuyendo a la automatización de tareas en entornos industriales y de servicio.
This project presents the design, development, and evaluation of the CIBOT system, an autonomous robot designed for assistance and caregiving purposes. The main objectives include improving the stability of its mechanical structure, assessing the hardware and software components, and developing a human-machine interface (HMI) that facilitates user interaction. Through a comprehensive approach, key areas of the robot were identified and enhanced, such as structural stability and operational efficiency, which allowed for improved navigability in controlled environments. Additionally, the implementation of an HMI promotes system accessibility, offering an intuitive interface that enhances the user experience. This modular system also paves the way for future enhancements and research, providing a flexible platform for adaptations aimed at automating repetitive tasks in industrial and service environments. The project results demonstrate its potential as an assistance tool, making a significant contribution.
