Debido a las fuertes lluvias que se han venido presentando en municipios como Guasca y La Calera, se han generado inundaciones causadas por el desbordamiento y deslizamiento de la quebrada El Asilo, lo cual ha generado pérdidas económicas y afectaciones en salud de los ciudadanos, especialmente para las comunidades de zonas urbanas, reconociendo estos hechos podemos afirmar, entonces, que el desbordamiento de una quebrada es una problemática actual, que al ser causado por fenómenos naturales, como lo es la lluvia, es inevitable en su mayoría. Por eso se requiere una solución que permita tomar medidas de protección para la comunidad antes de que ocurra un desastre, para prevenir y reducir riegos. Este proyecto busca abordar esta problemática mediante el desarrollo de una ingeniería conceptual para la creación de una plataforma en línea que facilite el monitoreo del nivel de la quebrada El asilo en metros, permitiendo a los residentes tomar acciones preventivas ante incrementos repentinos en el nivel del agua para reducir los riesgos de inundaciones.
Due to the heavy rains that have been occurring in municipalities such as Guasca and La Calera, floods have been caused by the overflowing and sliding of the El Asilo stream, which has generated economic losses and affected the health of citizens, especially for communities in urban areas, recognizing these facts we can state, then, that the overflowing of a stream is a current problem, which being caused by natural phenomena, such as rain, is inevitable in most cases. Therefore, a solution is required to take protective measures for the community before a disaster occurs, in order to prevent and reduce risks. This project seeks to address this problem through the development of a conceptual engineering for the creation of an online platform that facilitates the monitoring of the level of the El Asilo creek in meters, allowing residents to take preventive actions before sudden increases in the water level to reduce the risks of flooding.
