En la actualidad el ojo seco es una condicio?n la cual afecta a millones de personas alrededor del mundo, dan?ando muchas veces de manera significativa su calidad de vida y el bienestar, esto ocurre por la falta de lubricacio?n adecuada causando si?ntomas como la resequedad ocular, irritacio?n, picazo?n, visio?n borrosa y fatiga visual. Generalmente, las pruebas para diagnosticar esta condicio?n suelen ser invasivas o incómodas para los pacientes. Debido a esto se aplicará la visio?n artificial, esta es una tecnologi?a que tiene la capacidad de procesar, analizar e interpretar ima?genes, para posterior tomar la mejor decisio?n basada en estos datos visuales; dicha tecnologi?a ha tenido un crecimiento exponencial, puesto que ha permitido mejorar la eficiencia en distintas a?reas, entre las cuales se encuentra la deteccio?n de amenazas, reconocimiento facial, educacio?n y a?reas como la medicina en donde el procesamiento de ima?genes es usado para la investigacio?n o el diagno?stico y posterior tratamiento; adema?s de revolucionar la capacidad e interaccio?n con la tecnologi?a influyendo en cada a?mbito de nuestra vida.
Currently, dry eye is a condition that affects millions of people around the world, often significantly damaging their quality of life and well-being. This occurs due to a lack of adequate lubrication causing symptoms such as dry eyes, irritation, itching, blurred vision and eyestrain. Tests to diagnose this condition are usually invasive or uncomfortable for patients. Because of this, artificial vision will be applied, this is a technology that has the ability to process, analyze and interpret images, and then make the best decision based on these visual data; this technology has had an exponential growth since it has improved efficiency in different areas, among which is the detection of threats, facial recognition, education and areas such as medicine where image processing is used for research or diagnosis and subsequent treatment; in addition to revolutionizing the ability and interaction with technology influencing every area of our lives.
