La presente sistematización, analiza la experiencia del mariposario como ambiente de aprendizaje en la solución de problemáticas socio ambientales, agrupando tres categorías (aprendizaje, liderazgo y problemáticas ambientales) que surgen del eje y los propósitos planteados. Los resultados obtenidos a través de tres instrumentos (relato inicial, entrevistas semiestructuradas y un ejercicio de memoria), fueron analizados desde enfoque socio crítico, logrando comprender que el mariposario se convirtió en un entorno de aprendizaje para los estudiantes porque les permitió: fomentar la reflexión crítica, generar de nuevos saberes, estar motivados al aprendizaje, desarrollar habilidades de liderazgo, y adquirir conciencia ambiental al conocer el ciclo de vida de la mariposa y su función como polinizador, fortaleciendo en ellos una mayor consideración por el medio ambiente y la biodiversidad.
The present systematization analyzes the experience of the butterfly farm as an environment of learning in solving socio-environmental problems grouping three categories (learning, leadership and environmental problems) that arise from the axis and purposes raised. The results obtained through three instruments (initial report, interviews semi-structured and a memory exercise), were analyzed from a socio-critical approach, understanding that the butterfly farm became a learning environment for the students because it allowed them to: encourage critical reflection, generate new knowledge, be motivated to learn, develop leadership skills, and acquire environmental awareness by knowing the life cycle of the butterfly and its function as a pollinator, strengthening them greater consideration for the environment and biodiversity.
