Resumen
Este proyecto de investigación caracteriza las prácticas de enseñanza del inglés de los profesores de la Facultad de Licenciatura en Lengua Castellana, Inglés y Francés, teniendo en cuenta sus propias reflexiones, su papel de profesor universitario, y sus estrategias de enseñanza y aprendizaje directas e indirectas, así como las teorías y conocimientos aplicados en el aula; indaga por las estrategias didácticas en cuanto al: nivel del docente, a las estrategias de enseñanza y aprendizaje en educación superior, y el papel del profesor y del estudiante universitario en la docencia del idioma extranjero ELT. Es un estudio de corte cualitativo a través de un caso de un profesor de inglés, el cual reflejara determinadas características que utilizan los profesores universitarios, y de la función que cumplen en la enseñanza del inglés. Finalmente, se espera que la presente investigación facilite o permita que los maestros tomen conciencia de las distintas caracterizaciones que los profesores utilizan en sus prácticas universitarias a través de sus prácticas docentes

According to the present discussion by the group of Pedagogy, Culture and teacher training in Education, in the Faculty of Education Sciences at the La Salle University, this researching project is developed in terms of characterizations about the practices of teaching English teachers through faculty's degree in Spanish Language, English and French, from their reflective practices, the role as a university professor, teaching strategies, and direct and indirect learning strategies and theories and knowledge set by teachers in their practices in the classroom. On the other hand, the elements would focus on different strategies in the following areas: characterization of teachers, teaching and learning strategies in higher education, English Language teaching ELT, and the role of teacher and student in the university This project is a qualitative study through a study of a case of an English teacher, who will account for the use, meaning and ownership of certain features used by academics, and the role they play in the teaching of English. Finally, this research will help to the teachers to differentiate and become aware of the different characterizations that teachers use in their practices
