Resumen

La presente investigación está inscrita en el macro proyecto “Estrategias para la comprensión lectora en Ciencias Naturales, Matemáticas, Ciencias Sociales y Lenguaje” Facultad de Ciencias de la Educación del programa de Maestría en Docencia extensión El Yopal, Universidad de La Salle. Surgió de la pregunta problema ¿De qué manera la Resolución de Problemas, como estrategia de enseñanza favorece el desarrollo de habilidades de Pensamiento científico en estudiantes de grado cuarto de las instituciones educativas Centro Social y Lorgio Rodríguez del municipio de El Yopal - Casanare? La investigación es de enfoque cualitativo siguiendo el método de etnografía educativa en la modalidad escolar desarrollada por Alvarez (2008) con técnicas como la prueba diagnóstica, la observación participante y la entrevista semiestructurada; y con instrumentos como la prueba pretest, el guion de preguntas y la rejilla de observación. La muestra seleccionada estuvo conformada por 74 estudiantes y 4 docentes de dos instituciones educativas públicas de la ciudad de Yopal. Para analizar la información de la entrevista se implementó la técnica de análisis de contenido bajo el método de “Destilar información” propuesto por Vásquez (2013) y para la observación participante la técnica de análisis de contenido propuesto por Ruiz (2007), donde se establecieron sus correspondientes categorías las cuales permitieron realizar el proceso de interpretación y establecer los hallazgos emergentes. Se concluye que la resolución de problemas es una estrategia de enseñanza donde el estudiante hace uso de los saberes previos y adquiridos en la solución de un problema donde además se promueve el desarrollo de habilidades de pensamiento, de este modo el estudiante lograra contextualizar las temáticas, con el objetivo de que se interese por el aprendizaje.

The investigation is of qualitative approach following the method of educational ethnography in the school modality developed by Alvarez (2008) with technicians like the proof diagnostic the observation participant and the interview semistructured; and with instruments like the proof pretest, the guion of questions and the rejilla of observation. The sample selected was conformed by 7 4 students and 4 educational of two educational institutions public of the city of Yopal. To analyse the information of the interview implemented the technician of analysis of content under the method to “Distill information” proposed by Vásquez (2013) and for the observation participant the technician of analysis of content proposed by Ruiz (2007), where established his corresponding categories which allowed to make the process of interpretation and establish the emergent findings. It concludes that the resolution of problems is a strategy of education where the student does use of the previous knowledges and purchased in the solution of a problem where besides promotes the development of skills of thought, in this way the student attained to contextualise the thematic, with the aim that it interest by the learning.
