The present investigation pretend generate an aid diagnostic extending the information and the use of morfometic scores in the diagnosis of the corporal condition in felines with an approach accentuated in the disorder of weight, for it by means of the harvesting of the morfometrics measures in felines with different corporal conditions, their weight, reproductive state and age, we are looking for these variables to determine since morphologic data there is a degree of alteration in the weight of the animal and its correspondence according to the greasy percentage and corporal condition. The sampled animal was the entered ones to consultation in the Clinical Medical Animal Care, Clinic of the University of the Salle and to the house of happy cat. One of the methods of diagnosis of alterations of the weight is on the basis of the corporal condition (CC). If is accepted that the 15 to 25% of corporal fat is an optimal value for cats, then an animal with the CC of 3/5 must have a 20% of corporal fat (BUTTER, 2005). The qualification systems that use defined criteria increase the objectivity of the process but they do not completely eliminate the implicit subjectivity in the allocation of a score certain animal. For being so subjective the present methods, is necessary applying new methods for identification of obese animal as is the greasy percentage. This study work with an n=of 100 felines of different races, ages, sex and state to which morfométricas measures were taken them such as: Corporal length (LC), later member Length straight (MPD), pelvian Circumference (CP), cráneotorácica Circumference (CCT), previous member Length straight (MAD). Annex to these measures was taking the weight of each animal and visual determination of the corporal condition (CC). Soon by means of a statistic analysis of correlation coefficient the influential variables in the greasy percentage were determined the animal as well as its prevalence and correlation to the corporal condition given by the veterinary doctors by palpation and visualization of the animal to determine the slant of the method previously mentioned in relation to morfometrics. The result of the investigation gives that the best morfométrics measures with a greater correlation are the pelviana circumference and the thoracic circumference. Nevertheless all the evaluated morfometrics measures in this study although do not have a degree of direct correlation with the determination of the obesity or the starvation is of morfometric relevance for the determination of the percentage of corporal fat since they contribute to the equation with an information on the anatomical conformation of the animal that can vary according to the race, age and size of the feline. We see that the racial differences as far as the measures are remarkable thus is difficult to generalize, thus is necessary that the veterinarian knows anatomical the landlords own each race to avoid to fall in errors. By means of in descriptive analysis of the data superior became visible that is an increase in the proportion of animal with overweight in slight degree or that is not being diagnosed suitably. Being the Bengalí the unique race that stayed in suitable percentage of corporal fat.
