Azoospermia is a problem of high incidence in horses in the country and often diagnosis is not suitable or timely, that’s why the testicular biopsy is has become in an important diagnoses tool since allows us know deep and detailed the process of spermatogenesis in stallion, this complex process has a duration of 57 days approximately, it consists of a series of events and critical phases that occur on specific places in seminiferous tubules where a spermatogonium gives origin to a sperm. The objective of this study is to describe the process of spermatogenesis from two different methods of testicular biopsy, which are biopsy via fine needle aspiration and biopsy via tru-cut needle, they allow us know clearly and detailed the status of the testis of the stallion and off course if the spermatogenesis is being done properly and whether or not the problem of azoospermia presenting in the stallion is reversible or not, in addition the allow us to have a clear picture of testicular status stud without removing the hole organ and whit the least number of side effects if the biopsy is taken properly. The samples obtained were analyzed whit a help of a microscope where in addition to search them cells that allow us to know if the process of spermatogenesis is properly assessed the status of testis in general. In conclusion the testicular biopsy is a diagnostic tool that allows us to tell exactly what is the status of the testis, the status of spermatogenesis process and the reproductive future of the stallion, the biopsy obtained by tru-cut needle is more effective than the biopsy obtained by fine needle aspiration, because the biopsy obtained by tru-cut needle getting us histological sheets so we don’t only see the presence of the cells related whit the spermatogenesis process but also can see it architecture of the seminiferous tubules which are fundamental in the process of spermatogenesis and therefore in the reproductive future of the stallions.
