This work was carried out in Santafé of Bogotá that is located to a latitude of 4°36'56'' north latitude and to a longitude of 74°4'51 '' longitude west , to a height of 2640 m.s.n.m. and a temperature that oscillates among 8° - 15°C. They took samples conjuntivals of 100 cats, clinically healthy, those which alone they should fulfill two basic requirements, 1) not to present illness some and 2) they should not be I lower any medical treatment. With these two requirements, we assure that the flora conjuntival is low normal conditions. They were kept in mind variables as: race, age, sex, environmental condition, corporal condition, nutritious habits and area of the city where were sampling. The sample was taken by means of a hyssop with half of transport (Culturette®), and processed in the Laboratory of Microbiology of the University of La Salle. The samples were sowed in Blood Agar Base, Mac Conkey Agar, for the primary isolation and these two more the Mannitol Salt Agar, Phenil ethyl alcohol and Sabouraud Dextrose Agar for the selective isolation. The data of this investigation threw a wide percentage of Staphylococcus positive coagulasa with 29%, Staphylococcus negative coagulasa with 9% for a total of 38% of total Staphylococcus, followed by Bacillus sp with 13%, Streptococci sp with 7% and the Corynebacterium sp with 3%. they were Also in the present investigation microorganisms like the Micrococcus sp with a significant percentage of 13% and other bacterium like: Sarcina flava, Klebsiella sp and Lactobacilos sp , which were not reported in previous studies. The first five isolated bacterium coincide with that reported by Slatter in 1990 where the incidence of Staphylococcus positive coagulasa was of 16%, Staphylococcus negative coagulasa of 10%, Bacillus sp 3%, Streptococci sp 2%, Corynebacterium sp of 1% and contrary to the work carried out in Santafé of Bogotá, they isolated 5% of Mycoplasma sp . With the investigation concluded that the mature cats possess a bigger percentage in the total Staphylococcus, Corynebacterium sp , Micrococcus sp , Lactobacilos sp and Moraxella sp , while in the young animals the biggest incidence was for the Klebsiella sp and the Yeasts sp . For the other bacterium a similar percentage exists among the two ages. The above-mentioned was analyzed with the program of Microsoft Excel under a qualitative descriptive statistic that which allowed to determine the interaction among the different variables.
