Resumen

El desarrollo de la medicina veterinaria ha implicado tener que enfrentar día tras día nuevos retos tras la aparición de nuevos problemas en la presentación de las enfermedades, en el transcurso y desenlace de las mismas, ya que los métodos de control y erradicación no en todos los casos funcionan y surge entonces la necesidad de emplear nuevas estrategias; por eso el interés de profundizar y utilizar otra alternativa como lo es la homeopatía; el anterior trabajo fue desarrollado en el municipio de Chocontá (Cundinamarca) a 75 Km de Bogotá, en el albergue canino que lleva el mismo nombre, este municipio tiene una temperatura promedio de 12,1ºC el albergue cuenta con una población aproximada de 80 animales entre machos y hembras de todos los tamaños y edades, de raza criolla en su gran mayoría, en mal estado de salud, siendo las enfermedades más notables las de tipo dermatológicas, gástricas, respiratorias, y otras alteraciones y deficiencias del sistema hepàtico comprobadas en el laboratorio mediante la valoración de las enzimas hepáticas ALAT Y ASAT. Se escogieron 25 animales de 60 examinados entre los que presentaron altas anormalidades dentro del recuento normal de estas enzimas, para conformar al azar 5 grupos de cinco animales cada uno (un grupo control y 4 grupos de tratamiento) y aplicar en los grupos de tratamiento una dosis diferente de la Nux vomica homaccord a intervalos y tiempos iguales, teniendo en cuenta las dosis máximas y mínimas recomendadas, subdosificando algunos animales y sobredosificando otros, para comprobar que el medicamento no presenta ningún riesgo para el paciente. Al cabo de un mes se valoraron nuevamente los 25 animales mediante toma de muestra sanguínea y posterior evaluación en el laboratorio, comprobando la efectividad del medicamento debido al cambio en los valores de las enzimas hepáticas hacia y dentro de los rangos normales en los animales tratados y el posterior desarrollo del modelo estadístico escogido que ratificó lo anteriormente dicho.

The development of the veterinary medicine has implied to have to face day after day new challenges after the appearance of new problems in the presentation of the illnesses, in the course and outcome of the same ones. The control methods and eradication not in all the cases work and it arises the necessity to use new strategies; for that reason the interest of to deepen and to use another alternative as it is the homeopathy; the previous work was developed in the municipality of Chocontá (Cundinamarca) to 75 Km of Bogotá, in the canine housing that takes the same name, this municipality has a temperature average of 12,1ºC, the housing has an approximate population of 80 animals between males and females of all the sizes and ages, of Creole race in its great majority, in not well state of health, being the most remarkable illnesses those of type dermatological, gastric, breathing, and other alterations and deficiencies of the hepatic system, checked in the laboratory by valuation of the hepatic enzymes ALAT and ASAT. 25 animals of 60 were chosen, examined among those that presented high abnormalities inside the normal recount of these enzymes, to conform 5 groups of five animals at random each one (a control group and 4 treatment groups) and to apply in the treatment groups a different dose from the Nux vomica homaccord (at intervals and same times, keeping in mind the recommended maximum and minimum doses giving a lower dose than the recommended to some animals and giving higher doses than the recommended to another ones, to check that the medication doesn't present any risk for the patient. After one month, they were valued the 25 animals, taking sanguine samples and later evaluating in the laboratory; checking the effectiveness of the medication due to the change in the values of the hepatic enzymes toward and inside the normal ranges in the treated animals and the later development of the chosen statistical pattern that it ratified the previously thing.
