Resumen

Esta monografía realiza el análisis de la Doctrina Bush desde la perspectiva neoconservadora de las Relaciones Internacionales, aplicando la sociología histórica e implementando como metodología la investigación cualitativa. Este estudio tiene como objetivo analizar la transformación de la doctrina de seguridad estadounidense después de los ataques del 9/11, y así interpretar la instrumentalización de las categorías del bien y el mal fundamentadas en la exportación de la democracia y la libertad. Estas categorías influenciaron la implementación de la Nueva Estrategia de Seguridad Nacional de los Estados Unidos en el año 2002. La estructura del análisis empleado es pertinente para entender la complejidad del sistema internacional en materia de seguridad, dado que se realiza un estudio desde la perspectiva neoconservadora y sus pilares, siendo estos la moral y los valores, dejando de lado el cliché de la aplicación de la teoría realista sobre el accionar estadounidense. Para constatar lo anterior, el primer capítulo sintetiza las doctrinas, más relevantes, antecedentes a la doctrina Bush; el segundo capítulo aborda los periodos presidenciales de George W. Bush, su gabinete político y la doctrina que lleva su nombre; y el tercero, el neoconservadurismo, sus etapas y aplicación de este movimiento académico en la administración Bush. Por último, se presentan generalidades y conclusiones

This monograph analyzes the Bush Doctrine from the neoconservative perspective of International Relations, applying Historical Sociology and implementing qualitative research as a methodology. The objective of this study is to analyze the transformation of the American security doctrine after the attacks of 9/11, and thus interpret the instrumentalization of the categories of good and evil based on the export of democracy and freedom. These categories influenced the implementation of the new National Security Strategy of the United States in 2002. The structure of the analysis used is relevant for understanding the complexity of the international security system, given that the study will be carried out from the neoconservative perspective and its pillars, these being the moral and values, leaving aside the cliché of the application of realistic theory on american actions. In order to prove what has been said, the first chapter summarizes the most relevant and previous doctrines of the Bush doctrine, the second chapter addresses the presidential terms of George W. Bush, its political gabinet and the doctrine under his name and, the third chapter, addresses neoconservatism, its stages, and the application of this academic movement in the Bush administration. Finally, generalities and conclusions are presented
