Resumen

Este informe investigativo surge a partir del trabajo realizado en la oficina de alianzas nacionales e internacionales de la Biblioteca Nacional de Colombia, bajo la modalidad de pasantías. Gracias al apoyo a distintos proyectos, fue posible observar la importancia del rol que ejercen las bibliotecas respecto a la protección del patrimonio cultural inmaterial y cómo se fortalecen cuando trabajan en red. En este sentido, la propuesta está encaminada en proponer el desarrollo una red de bibliotecas indígenas en América Latina, en el marco de los principios de Cooperación Sur-Sur que adapta la cooperación iberoamericana. De modo que, a través de una investigación con enfoque cualitativo y descriptivo, se busca en primera instancia, caracterizar la diversidad lingüista y demográfica de los pueblos indígenas de la región, en segundo lugar, se determina el aporte de la cooperación iberoamericana y los organismos de cooperación internacional y por último, a partir de los hallazgos obtenidos del análisis estructural del programa iberbibliotecas, se identifica la orientación estratégica que debe seguir la red de bibliotecas indígenas para ser parte de la agenda cultural iberoamericana

This research report arises from the work developed in the office of national and international alliances of the National Library of Colombia, under the modality of internships. Thanks to the support in different projects, it was possible to observe the importance of the role of libraries in protecting the intangible cultural heritage and how they are strengthened when working by means of networks. In this sense, the research is aimed at proposing the development of an indigenous libraries network in Latin America within the framework of the principles of South-South Cooperation that adapts Ibero-American cooperation. In this sense, through a qualitative and descriptive research, is intended in the first instance to characterize the linguistic and demographic diversity of the indigenous peoples of the region, secondly, is determined the contribution of Ibero-American cooperation and international cooperation agencies and lastly, based on the findings in the structural analysis of the Iberbibliotecas program, is identified the strategic orientation that the indigenous library network must follow to be part of the Ibero-American cultural agenda
