Resumen
Este trabajo de investigación se resalta la importancia de las bibliotecas nacionales, su labor social y cultural en la construcción del patrimonio y su constante búsqueda de nuevas maneras de difusión cultural, las bibliotecas nacionales proyectan la memoria histórica de un país a través de la salvaguarda del patrimonio, se resaltan distintas bibliotecas de habla de hispana que realizan adecuadamente la difusión y son ejemplo para otras bibliotecas nacionales o no. En el presente trabajo se realiza una investigación documental usando diversos recursos bibliográficos para la construcción de una matriz comparativa que evidencia las estrategias que usan las Bibliotecas Nacionales para difundir el patrimonio cultural de sus respectivos países.

This investigation highlights the important role of national libraries, their social and cultural involvement in the construction of patrimony and heritage and their constant search for new ways of cultural diffusion. National libraries project the historical memory of a country through the safekeeping of heritage. Different spanish speaking libraries that adequately carry out the diffusion are highlighted, they are an example for other libraries, national or otherwise. In this work it is carried out an extense documentary investigation in different bibliographic resources for the construction of a comparative matrix that shows the different strategies that national libraries use to diffuse the cultural heritage of their respective countries
