Resumen

El vallenato hace parte de la cultura colombiana, el cual merece reconocimiento y apropiación del tema, para que no desaparezcan las melodías autóctonas y tradicionales. Que identifican a los pobladores de la región caribe de Colombia y que a su vez impacta y representa al resto del país. Este género construye sus melodías y canciones a partir de los conocimientos ancestrales, la memoria e historia del país, de forma cantada para el conocimiento de los demás pobladores.

Por lo tanto, el vallenato se encuentra inscrito en la lista representativa del patrimonio cultural inmaterial de la Organización de las Naciones Unidas para la Educación, la Ciencia y la Cultura (UNESCO), con medidas de salvaguardia y protección. Por su riesgo, de permanencia en el tiempo, con esta investigación se han identificado qué aspectos describen el vallenato como parte de la cultura colombiana, así como las modificaciones desde sus inicios hasta la actualidad.

Vallenato is part of Colombian culture, which deserves recognition and appropriation of the theme, so that the native and traditional melodies do not disappear. That identify the inhabitants of the Caribbean region of Colombia and that in turn impacts and represents the rest of the country. This genre builds its melodies and songs from ancestral knowledge, the memory and history of the country, in a sung way for the knowledge of the other inhabitants. Therefore, the vallenato is inscribed on the representative list of intangible cultural heritage of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), with safeguard and protection measures. Due to its risk of permanence over time, this research has identified what aspects describe vallenato as part of Colombian culture, as well as the modifications from its beginnings to the present.
