Resumen

Desde el horizonte de la filosofía hermenéutica, el escrito presente señalará algunas pautas de interpretación alrededor del Pacto de Cuidados que, según Ricoeur, es el fundamento de la ética médica y que claramente es tema obligado, también, para el profesional de la salud visual y ocular (PSVO). En la primera parte se mostrará la relación ricoeuriana entre éticas anteriores, normas y éticas posteriores. En la segunda, se presentarán algunas consideraciones sobre la relación entre paciente y PSVO en lo concerniente al Pacto de Cuidados con base en dos de sus elementos constitutivos: la confianza y la alianza. Finalmente, se sugerirán algunas pautas de comprensión para fortalecer la confianza, que constituye el mencionado pacto, entre el paciente y el PSVO.

Abstract

From the horizon of the hermeneutic philosophy, the present writing will indicate some guidelines of interpretation around the Pact of Care, which, according to Ricoeur, is the foundation of the medical ethics and that is clearly an obligatory topic for the Professional of the Visual and Ocular Health (PVOH). In the first part, we will show the Ricoeur’s relation between previous ethical concepts and later ethical norms. In the second part, we will introduce some considerations on the relation between patient and PVOH as for the Pact of Care, according to two of their constituent elements: the confidence and the alliance. Finally, some guidelines of understanding will be suggested to fortify the confidence that constitutes the mentioned pact between the patient and the PVOH.
