Resumen
Resulta complejo crecer y darse cuenta lo difícil que es encontrar espacios de formación o de encuentro que se salgan de lo convencional, que rompan estereotipos y ofrezcan posibilidades de construir ciudadanías que valoran la diversidad de expresiones artísticas, pero también de formas de estar y expresarse en el mundo, que demuestren que no siempre lo diferente es sinónimo de “malo” o “perverso”. Este estudio busca identificar por qué se dan las limitaciones en la garantía y ejercicio de derechos culturales de la niñez y sus familias en relación a las posibilidades genera el Metal Extremo para construir ciudadanías críticas, infancias creativas, con pensamiento divergente, y que se hagan visibles a través de las ofertas culturales orientadas a la participación de las familias, los niños y las niñas en Bogotá. Estos elementos, sumados a otros que se deben seguir explorando, contribuyen con las exigencias por la garantía y disfrute de los derechos culturales de las infancias, que, pese a los esfuerzos de entidades públicas y privadas, continúan subsumidos a las normas morales que no permiten la construcción de otras infancias.

In a family where Metal is the bread and butter of every day and decides to change the typical lullabies for the tunes of Extreme Metal, it is difficult to grow up and realize how difficult it is to find meeting spaces that go beyond the conventional, that break stereotypes and offer possibilities to build citizenships that value the diversity of artistic expressions, but also of ways of being and expressing oneself in the world, that show that different is not always synonymous with “bad” or “perverse”. This study seeks to identify why there are limitations in the guarantee and exercise of cultural rights of children and their families in relation to the possibilities generated by Extreme Metal to build critical citizenships, creative childhoods, with divergent thinking, and make them visible through cultural offers aimed at the participation of families, boys and girls in Bogotá. These elements, added to others that should continue to be explored, contribute to the demands for the guarantee and enjoyment of the cultural rights of childhoods, which, despite the efforts of public and private entities, continue to be subsumed by the moral norms that do not allow the construction of other childhoods.
