Resumen
La producción ovina en Colombia se ha distinguido por un bajo nivel tecnológico en todas sus áreas productivas, asociadas a sistemas tradicionales y artesanales. Esta investigación se llevó a cabo mediante la evaluación de la unidad productiva de ovinos en la Hacienda La Lyda del municipio Holguín, Valle; para determinar el grado de desempeño de las buenas practicas agropecuarias, lo cual permitió conocer las principales dificultades o falencias a las que se enfrenta la producción. Para realizar este estudio, se hizo una priorización de problemas y su interrelación con otros sistemas utilizando la matriz de Vester donde se analizó las causas y consecuencias de los problemas, se identificó la jerarquización de los mismos y se evaluó el grado de incidencia, y por último junto con el ICA se programaron auditorias que permitieron llevar ordenadamente y actualizados los procesos productivos además consecutivamente se dieron alternativas de solución con el fin de construir un sistema más eficiente y competitivo.

Sheep production in Colombia has been distinguished by a low technological level in all its productive areas, associated with traditional and artisan systems. This research was carried out by evaluating the productive unit of sheep in the Hacienda La Lyda of the municipality Holguín, Valle; to determine the degree of performance of good agricultural practices, which allowed to know the main difficulties or shortcomings that the production is facing. In order to perform this study, a prioritization of problems and their interrelation with other systems using the Vester matrix where the causes and consequences of the problems were analyzed, the hierarchization of the problems was identified and the degree of incidence was evaluated, and Last, together with the ICA, audits were carried out, which allowed the production processes to be brought in an orderly and up-to-date manner. In addition, alternative solutions were developed in order to build a more efficient and competitive system.
