CAD), Longitud Corporal (LON.

In order to identify an efficient productive biotype of First Calf Holstein cow in CIC Santamaría del Puyón of La Salle University, were analyzed the relationship between body and linear udder measurements with milk yield and age at first calving. Cows (n = 16) were divided into four contemporary groups and measured at the beginning, in the half and at the end of lactation. Body, linear, productive and reproductive measurements were analyzed through descriptive statistics, and were calculated Pearson correlations between body and linear measurements with milk production and age at first calving, using SAS software version 8. The measurement of milk production was taken from the database of Software Ganadero TP of Santamaría Del Puyón herd. The averages and standard deviations of body measurements Body Weight (BW), Heart Girth (HG) Hip Height (HH), Body Length (BL), Rump Width (RW), Rump Length (RL), Pins Width (PW) = and Body Condition Score (BCS) were 509,60 ± 36,07 Kg, 192,72 ± 4,62 cm, 141,47 ± 2,49 cm, 146,85 ± 7,53 cm, 53,77 ± 3,01 cm, 50,18 ± 1,51 cm, 24,16 ± 1,79 cm, y 3,04 ± 0,31 pts, respectively. Body (BI) and Pelvic (PI) indexes were 76.19 and 107.14 respectively. The averages and standard deviations of linear udder measurements Rear Udder Attachment (RUA), Udder Width (UW), Fore Udder Attachment (FUA) and Udder Depth (UD) were 5,25 ± 0,93 pts, 5,12 ± 0,83 pts, 3,93 ± 1,16 pts, 3,77 ± 0,76 pts, respectively. The average of milk yield (MY) was 5207.2 ± 958.20 L, and age at first calving (AFC) average was 40.99 ± 6.54 months. (BW) and (UD) were correlated significantly to MY (p<0.05), and (RW), (UW), (FUA), were correlated highly significant to MY (p<0.01), showing useful to include these measurements in the productive selection in Holstein cows. (BW) and (BCS) were correlated highly significant to (AFC).
