Resumen
El propósito de este trabajo fue plantear e implementar las medidas de bioseguridad, las cuales son de cumplimiento obligatorio en la granja avícola del centro de investigación y capacitación San Miguel, con una orientación de calidad, productividad y sostenibilidad. Esta granja se ubica en el municipio de Facatativá, la línea manejada durante el tiempo del estudio era la línea Babcock Brown; en este tiempo tenían 7.467 aves en un sistema de producción en jaula. Actualmente la explotación avícola del centro de investigación y capacitación San Miguel tiene un manejo precario de las medidas de bioseguridad, en el tiempo de pasantía se presentaron dos enfermedades; las cuales, generaron pérdidas económicas significativas para el productor. El primer paso de este trabajo fue caracterizar la granja a nivel de bioseguridad, para esto se tomó la resolución 3642 de 2013 del Instituto Colombiano Agropecuario (ICA); posteriormente se reportó el informe a la persona encargada de esta granja, permitiéndose realizarse algunos cambios estructurales; debido a falta de presupuesto, no se pudieron realizar todos los cambios propuestos durante el tiempo de práctica. Dejándose planteado todos los documentos, cotizaciones y formatos para hacer cada uno de los cambios faltantes. En los resultados se puede observar cada uno de los documentos mencionados anteriormente, para cada área relacionada con este sistema, también un análisis costo beneficio de la implementación de dichas medidas. Con este trabajo se pudo concluir que las medidas de bioseguridad son una herramienta que ayuda a prevenir, controlar y mitigar la aparición de agentes patógenos que generan un impacto negativo en el sistema de producción, estas medidas son necesarias para mantener la inocuidad del huevo y brindar una mejor calidad en el producto, para esto es indispensable el trabajo en equipo y el interés por parte de las directivas de la Universidad.

The purpose of this work was to propose and implement biosecurity measures, which are mandatory in the poultry farm of the San Miguel research and training center, with a focus on quality, productivity and sustainability. This farm is located in the municipality of Facatativá, the line managed during the time of the study was the Babcock Brown line; At this time, they had 7,467 birds in a cage production system. At the moment the poultry exploitation of the center of investigation and training San Miguel has a precarious management of the biosecurity measures, in the time of internship two diseases appeared; Which generated significant economic losses for the producer. The first step of this work was to characterize the farm at biosecurity level, for this was adopted Resolution 3642 of 2013 of the Colombian Agricultural Institute (ICA); Later the report was reported to the person in charge of this farm, allowing some structural changes to be made; Due to lack of budget, it was not possible to make all the changes proposed during the practice time. Letting all the documents, quotes and formats to make each of the missing changes. In the results we can observe each of the documents mentioned above, for each area related to this system, also a cost benefit analysis of the implementation of these measures. With this work it was possible to conclude that biosecurity measures are a tool that helps to prevent, control and mitigate the appearance of pathogens that generate a negative impact on the production system, these measures are necessary to maintain egg safety and to provide A better quality in the product, for this it is indispensable the team work and the interest on the part of the directives of the University.
