Resumen

El objetivo general de esta investigación fue indagar acerca del conocimiento y uso de las Buenas Prácticas Agrícolas (BPA), en la producción agrícola del departamento de Cundinamarca.El estudio utilizó técnicas cualitativas para lograr conocer la percepción de las personas sobre su conocimiento de las BPA, instituciones relacionadas con la capacitación e implementación de estas prácticas dentro de los canales productivos del departamento de Cundinamarca, y técnicas cuantitativas para lograr describir los principales comportamientos dentro de las variables socioeconómicas del departamento.Los resultados revelan que los principales obstáculos para la adopción de las BPA son: los fuertes arraigos socioculturales y socioeconómicos de la gran mayoría de productores, el perfil del consumidor nacional que continuamente no evalúa el valor agregado de los productos BPA comparándolos directamente con aquellos que son producidos fuera de toda buena práctica agrícola y finalmente el sistema de comercialización actual que no es muy viable para pequeños y medianos productores; del mismo modo se revelo la gran importancia que tiene el estado (asociaciones, gremios y el MADR), en el proceso de capacitación e implementación de las BPA sobre todo en la parte que se refiere al conocimiento y concientización de los consumidores acerca de la gran importancia de consumir alimentos inocuos y de muy buena calidad.

The general target of our investigation was to investigate about the knowledge and use of the Good Agricultural Practices (BPA), in the agricultural production of the department of Cundinamarca. Our study used qualitative skills to manage to know the perception of the persons on its knowledge of the BPA, institutions related to the training and implementation of these practices inside the productive channels of the department of Cundinamarca, and quantitative skills to manage to describe the main behaviors inside the socioeconomic variables of the department. The results reveal that the main obstacles for the adoption of the BPA are, the strong sociocultural and socioeconomic rooting of the majority of producers, the profile of the national consumer who continuously does not evaluate the added value of the products BPA comparing them straight with those that are produced out of any good agricultural practice and finally the system of current commercialization that is not very viable for small and medium-sized producers; In the same way is revealed the big importance that has the state (Associations, Unions and the MADR), in the process of training and implementation of the BPA especially in the part that refers to the knowledge and campaign to raise public awareness of the consumers about the big importance of consuming innocuous food and of very good quality.
